Enrolment and prices
How do I enrol?
You can come into the centre at any point within our opening times and simply fill out an application form specifically stating which sessions you would like to attend.
Note: If your child is in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 there is a small entrance test, just to see what level the student is working at and to give them a little idea of what kind of things to expect.
How much will the sessions cost me?
Our prices depend on the package (We currently have a 25% discount for the first 50 students!):
BRONZE – 1 session a week (2 hours): £9.23 per hour, therefore £80 a month
GOLD – 2 sessions a week (4 hours): £7.79 per hour, therefore £135 a month
PLATINUM – 3 sessions a week (6 hours): £6.35 per hour, therefore £165 a month
Sessions and tutors
Lesson structure?
The first 10 mins of the lesson consists of reviewing homework from the previous week and addressing any issues. Majority of the session will consist on working through work which we provide or work that the student may have brought in to specifically go through. At the end of every session we set homework, to be due in for the next session.
Do you offer one to one tuition?
Generally we do not offer one to one tuition however it can be organised on an individual basis.
How long are the sessions?
Each session is 2 hours long. This can be for one specific subject, or if 2 subjects the 2 hours can be split into an hour each for both subjects. What subjects can my child study?
The subjects that we have to offer are Maths, English and Science.

We try to maintain small groups of three students per tutor.

We are open Tuesday- 4pm-8pm; Sunday 11am-3pm
Are the tutors qualified teachers?
The tutors are experts in the fields that they teach.
Not all tutors have teaching qualifications.
When are the sessions?
Sunday sessions: 11am- 1pm, 1:00pm- 3:00pm
Tuesday sessions: 4pm-6pm, 6pm-8pm
Does my child need tutoring?
This varies from individual to individual. We do not teach like they do in schools where there is a large student to teacher ratio, more so in small groups of 3 where more attention can be provided to the student on a more ‘one to one’ level, to be able to provide express maximum potential. The student will also be able to build a relationship with the tutor and look at them as a mentor where they can seek advice relating to future careers/studies/goals
What level is the tuition?
All ages between Year 1- Year 11 (KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4)
Should my child sit the 11+?
The 11+ exams are not easy. It is possible to tutor a student through the 11+ but in order to be able to succeed the student must be focused and driven but more importantly motivated! It is a challenging experience even for the most well prepared and suitable students. The 11+ exams are governed towards students looking to attend grammar and private schools. Preparation for these exams must be taken well beforehand rather than a couple months before the exam.
We can help your child prepare for the 11+ exam during our weekly classes. We also offer 11+ summer master classes which help boost your childs development over the summer.
You can find out more about by clicking ’11 Plus Summer Master Class’ on our homepage.
What subjects should I do?
What subjects shall I choose for A Level?
This is dependent on what you would like to study at University. It is crucial to have the correct A levels for the degree of your choice, to maximise your chances of getting into the best university possible. Certain courses at university are course-specific and are looking for those who have the correct A levels, note some courses specifically disregard a certain subject or do not want a particular subject (‘non-preferred’). Picking a ‘facilitating’ subject (subjects most commonly asked for by universities) will broaden your options. These subjects include: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, Maths, Modern/Classical Languages, History and Geography. Remember there is a big step between GCSE and A levels, and is generally harder therefore picking the most suitable subjects for you is vital.
What subjects shall I choose for GCSE?
Again, this is individual based and is different from person to person. However, you should choose subjects which will challenge you but at the same time you can enjoy alongside your core subjects. In our opinion try to keep your options as open as possible, if you do not know what career path you would like to take in the future (like most students in year 9, 10 and 11). Remember, no subject is ‘easy’, so choose wisely. There is no definite method of choosing your subject, the choice is personal, however, it would help if you can think about your future goals and aspirations when deciding.
